Letter to Charles Aders
Author: Samuel Taylor Coleridge
Ref No: GL C42.1
Date Added: 1893
Date Created: 18 August 1833
Coleridge writes to Charles Aders enquiring about purchasing a cheap ‘copy-taking or copy-making simple machine or mode’. He repays the price of postage to Aders by including a poem for Mr Aders to recite to his wife.
William Pulham gifted a small collection of letters to Grey along with this one by Coleridge. In a note sent with the letters, Pulham thanks Grey for a letter he had sent to him earlier and explains he ‘prizes Grey’s autograph higher than the others’.
